Hackathon Finale and Project Presentations

12 Noon on Sunday, October 15

Where: Adobe building, 343 Preston Street, Klondike Conference Room

Everyone is invited!

Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) Ottawa is part of a global movement that organizes hackathons that bring together problem solvers, creative thinkers, and technologists for a weekend to bring technology solutions to challenges faced by social enterprises, charities, not-for-profits, and civic organizations. Over the course of a weekend, teams of volunteers bring their creative, technical, and problem-solving know-how to tackle and solve several of these challenges.

Our Sunday presentations bring it altogether.

This year we’ll see presentations from the teams working on the following projects:

Project #1 – Voice Found – Data Acquisition

Project #2 – Gourmet Express – Order Platform

Project #3 – Trans Health Information Ottawa (THIO) – Collect and share information online

Project #4 – Cuts For Kids – Usage tracking and info source

Project #5 – Ottawa Community Housing Foundation – Directory of Recreation Activities and Locations

Project #6 – Refugee Sponsorship Support Program – Lawyer Onboarding
